[Work in Progress]
Why it is hard for man to imagine a world without itself. We keep trying to do things which give us a sense of immortality. A constant quest to deny death. Why can't a person die and get vanished from the world without any signs, like there is nothing that remains except memories which will definitely fade away.
So here goes my official "Will" which I am writing in my full conscious. In cases when i am not mentally or physically available to take decision for myself. Please consider these.
I DECLARE that if any one of the following holds true
- I suffer from a terminal disease.
- I am mentally unstable to effectively participate in decision of my medical care.
THEN IN THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES my directions are as follows.
- I don't want to be subjected to any medical intervention or treatment aimed at prolonging my life.
- I don' want to be put on any life support system.
- Any distressing symptoms must be controlled by proper analgesic or any other treatment, even though it may shorten my life.
I wish it to be understood I am more afraid of indignity than i fear death.
In case of my DEATH, following applies.
- My all ORGANS that can be reused must be DONATED. In case my body still remains it must be given to a medical college or an institution which can make fruitful use of it. In case still some of the body remains I must not be cremated and disposed in the way which has least carbon and water foot print.
- I am a Hindu, a religion of diverse rituals. However NO RITUALS must be practiced which means no kriya karm, no Terahi ceremony, no photo hanging on wall. Life goes on as it was a day earlier. Please understand i want least of myself to remain.
I RESERVE right to revoke this DIRECTIVE at any time. And in any circumstance this will cannot be used to take any legal action against anyone.
