Save Vultures

Vultures are one of the greatest predators on the earth.they play a key role for clean and healthy environment.But now the situations are such, that they come under the category of endangered species.

Ten years ago the population of vultures in india is about 8 crore 10 thousand.but now situation is so much crucial that less than 3000 vultures are alive in india.Scientist had tried a lot to know the reason behind this sudden and drastic decrease in their population.

After a lot of research culprit was found.And its really horrible to know that the culprit is not nature but the dichlofenac injection broadly and frequently used for pain relieving and muscular dystrophy in animals and in humans too in some cases.
When a vulture eats the meat of an animal who has been given dichlofenac injection in its past,dichlofenac enters into the vultures body.this chemical is not utilized and decomposed in vultures body.So finally it reaches vultures kidney where dichlofenac crystallizes and vulture dies with kidney failure.All this process takes place within the time span of two days
